The learning of teaching practice
A two-lecture series by Marc Clarà, delivered in 2026 for the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Government of Catalonia. The first lecture addresses the nature of teachers’ professional knowledge and its acquisition through appropriation and deliberate practice. The second focuses on reflection and its role in teachers’ professionalization, as well as the part played by theoretical knowledge in this process of professionalization and teacher learning.
