The USNT is a support program aimed at teachers who experience discomfort or emotional exhaustion in relation to their professional work. It is primarily aimed at novice teachers (less than 8 years of teaching practice) but is also open to teachers with more experience. The program consists of about 9 conversation sessions of about 60 minutes, which take place approximately once a week. The sessions are individual, only one member of the team and one teacher participate. Through conversation about day-to-day situations, the teacher’s narrative is worked on to improve their emotional experience towards the situations they face professionally.

It is a support program that is based on the team’s research and that is, at the same time, an object of research. Thus, during the program, the teacher’s narrative is continuously analyzed and the work of the following conversation sessions is focused on the basis of that analysis.

If you are a teacher who lives in a situation of discomfort or emotional exhaustion and you think that you might be interested in participating in the USDN, you can write to erims.udl@gmail.com. The program is offered free of charge. Participation in this program is recognized by the Institute of Educational Sciences of the University of Lleida.
